The S39S is a 39" x 1.625" cross bolt spear that has no hardware, it is the spear only. All Hayspears have a "fluted" design or groove down the both sides of the spear to facilitate removal from a bale of hay. They are bi-directional and should be mounted with the fluted portion of the spear parallel to the ground. The hay spear has 3,000 # capacity @ a 30" load center
